Accessible BBC iPlayer
You can now get BBC television programmes online through their iPlayer service, which although accessible is quite tricky to navigate. Accessible BBC iPlayer makes it easy to see what is available and start it playing.
There are two programs, iPlayer Directory and iPlayer Player. Directory takes a few minutes to download all the currently-available programs and present them to you in an alphabetically-ordered list, so you just have to arrow to a program and hit return, and Player opens them up and starts them playing for you. You can also use Player to search the iPlayer catalogue.
The BBC's iPlayer service requires you to have Macromedia or Adobe Flash installed. (Adobe bought Macromedia.) Flash installer download from the Adobe or Macromedia website.
- Download WebbIE 3 Installer - includes Accessible BBC iPlayer.
